Dhoom 3 is an upcoming Hindi action thriller film, written
and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and produced by Aditya Chopra.It will be
the third installment of the Dhoom series. Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra
will reprise their roles as Jai Dixit and Ali Akbar while Aamir Khan and
Katrina Kaif form the antagonist duo. Believed to be one of the most expensive
Indian films of all time, Dhoom 3 will be released on 20 December 2013 in
regular 2D and IMAX formats. This is the first Bollywood movie to be released
in the IMAX format. The film will also be released in Dolby Atmos.

Aamir Khan and Abhishek Bachchan fight it out in the open;
that’s what the latest Dhoom:3 promos show. The newest promos from the Dhoom
franchise will give you a dejavu feeling. The face off moment between cop Jai
Dixit (Abhishek) and the clown thief Sahir (Aamir) is what you have seen
earlier with both John Abraham and Hrithik Roshan. While there’s nothing
exciting about this promo, what works for it is the recall value, thanks to the
first two films of this series being a mega hit. So you have Bachchan Jr
mouthing the lines, “Is baar ya toh chori nahi hogi, ya chor nahi hoga“,
followed by an intense dialogue delivery by our Mr Perfectionist Khan, “Circus

Uday Chopra, the youngest son of Yash Raj Chopra and brother
of Aditya Chopra, who runs the YRF banner recently announced on twitter that he
will retire after Dhoom 3! Uday Chopra, YRF scion, is definitely not as popular

Since the YRF film Dhoom 3, starring Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, Abhishek

Uday Chopra has informed all his fans that he plans to retire soon after Dhoom

Development:
Even prior to the beginning of the principal photography the
film enjoyed a widespread media coverage. Because of the box office success and
positive reviews from audiences for Dhoom 2, the previous installment in the
Dhoom series, the sequel had been anticipated by the audience. On 2 January
2011, the producer of the previous Dhoom films, Aditya Chopra confirmed that
the third installment of the Dhoom series would begin principal photography at
the end of 2011. Initially, the producers and the lead actor Aamir wanted to
release the film on Christmas of 2012,but the plan was scrapped in favor of an
early release date in 2013, mainly due to a forecast that a Christmas release
would force a rushed post-production schedule, which was unfavorable given the
high degree of technicality required for the film.
